Combat mode draws power from the sensors and reroutes it to weapons and speed, as well as kicking the reactor into overdrive. The main emphasis of Combat Mode is close combat and has speed and power comparable-- if not greater than-- most Gundams, though at the expense of defensive ability, adaptability, and tracking.

This unit is a prototype for the 19M-A-MS Minuteman and is almost identical to the mass production version, except Combat Mode was removed to reduce cost. There is a small flaw in the Combat Mode that also contributed to its removal: a 5 minute time-limit, or else it will over heat and shut down.

Only 3 Prototype Minutemen were built. One such unit became the personal Cpt. Jo Westwood, whose job it is to insure the security of the Cowboy Gundam and the integrity of the fights it participates in.

Tetsuya Yamada

Tetsuya is 18 years old, Ryusei's best friend and his coach. Tetsuya is very smart, a genius some might say although only when it comes to mechs, due in part to his father's job as a designer of the Ultima Gundam. He is also very good at thinking up stratigies, although Ryusei ignores most of them since he prefers a head on attack. Tetsuya is also a womanizer and wanted to become a part of the crew since he thinks that he would get popular with the girls back home if Ryusei wins or at least does good, he also wanted to go since Ryusei's older sister, Yumi was going and because Tetsuya loves mechs almost as much as Ryusei.

Yusuke Yamada

Yusuke is 47 years old, Ryusei's chief mechanic and Tetsuya's father. Yusuke helped Ryusei with the Gundam Fights leading up to the finals. Before working on the Ultima Gundam Yusuke had been in the military as a mechanic and had been one of the designers of the Ultima Gundam so he knew the Ultima's limits and how to fix it when it got damaged so he had offered to be the chief mechanic for Ryusei. Ryusei accepted since he knew that Tetsuya would like working with his father, and because he is a very good cook, and has an easy going nature and is even more laid back then Ryusei and Tetsuya.

Yumi Urameshi

Yumi is 22 years old, Ryusei's older sister, and the nurse for the Ultima Gundam's crew, although as a joke her brother and Tetsuya call her Captian because of how strict she is. She had been a nurse for a few years and when her younger brother had been selected to be Neo Japan's Gundam Fighter she told him (And their parents.) that she was going with him to make sure he didn't get hurt. She is very strict and keeps the rest of the crew in line so as to not offend anyone. She is very beautiful and is very popular with men, but she cares more about watching out for her brother right now then finding a boyfriend so she ignores most of them.

Michiko

The mascot, she is a two month old kitten that was found sleeping in the ship she is very nice and likes to play with the rest of the crew, while she doesn't really do anything the others all like her and Tetsuya likes to bring her with them when they are out walking, he says its because she needs fresh air but it is partly because most girls like kittens. Michiko is the only member of the crew that Yumi is not strict with, unless she does something bad.

The rest of the crew

They are a group of sixteen mechanics that worked with Yusuke before and were reccomended to Ryusei by Yusuke. (I'm not going to go into detail about them or anything. Well maybe while talking to a few of them in character but not now.)

Ship

The ship's name is Happy Neko, since Yumi had found a kitten, Michiko, aboard the ship when the first boarded the ship. It has a very elegant design, and enough room for all twenty, twenty one including Michiko, and it is also fairly fast and manuverable.

Neo Phillipines Support Crew

Patrick Agtarap - 28 years old, Chief mechanic of the Jeepney Gundam, black hair, brown eyes, tall, athletic build+muscular look

A seasoned mechanical engineer, he has an impressive resume working on Neo-Philippines' national defense weapons. He met Alvin Cruz in college, (he was a senior, and Al a freshie) and they have become fast friends due to interest in reviving their nation to be among the elite once again.

He also knows Karate and Jeet Kune do, and was also hoping to be a Gundam Fight representative. That is, until he got runover by a drunk driver. His legs will heal, but will be nowhere near his martial arts prime. Fortunately he has skills that can still allow him to be a Neo-Philippines representative.

Hannah Moreno - 23 years old, Al's coach, dark-brown hair, brown eyes, athletic build, girl-next-door look

Coach, what coach? While History might say Al has dominated the Gundam Fight tryouts, (and it was true for the most part), they forgot about Hannah. She was showing a much more sophisticated mixed martial arts system than Al can ever dream of, but unfortunately Al's raw, natural talent got him to defeat Hannah in the bid to be the representative. She agrees, however, to coach Al and teach him more advanced techniques; like Al and Patrick, she too has shown interest in restoring the nation's glory.

Al and Hannah have been in the same schools since age 6, but they barely knew each other. Both have shown talents throughout their school careers, and sometimes the other students "media hype" their rivalry, much to their dismay.

The Crew - J.B., "Kuling", Louvell. These guys are responsible for leading the upkeep of the Jeepney Gundam. Needs some beers to be 100% effective.

The Ship - The Sarao. Unfortunately, the country's fund has focused much on the Mobile Fighter itself, so The Sarao's design is a bit plain and militaristic in appearance. Holds parts that can build 3 Jeepney Gundams.

Neo Iceland Support Team

History:

Linda is the older of Tomas' younger sisters. When she and Tomas were younger, they both studied martial arts all the way through high school. Once Linda graduated, she had planned to continue her study of martial arts by becoming an instructer. However, once Tomas was selected to become Neo-Iceland's Gundam fighter she dropped everything she was working on and went on to join his support team.

During the Gundam fight Linda usually serves as Tomas' battle advisor, constantly working with him to determine the weaknesses of upcoming opponents, but from time to time she also spars with Tomas so that he can constantly practice and improve his fighting technique.

Linda is gentle and good-natured... which benefits her greatly whenever she fights, as people often tend to underestimate her. But when she isn't fighting, Linda is a kind and loving sister to both Tomas and Ellie. She constantly worries about Tomas and his reckless behavior, both off and on the battleground. Many is the time when she's had to keep his hot temper in check when somebody makes a comment about their father, and time and again she has tried to get him to change his reckless style of fighting. He's managed to win all of his battles up until now, but she wonders just how far his simple strategy will take him in the final rounds.

History:

Despite being the younger of Tomas' siblings, Ellie works as the chief engineer for the Aurora Gundam. Ever since she was young, Ellie had developed an innate interest in mechanics and engineering, and was especially interested in working on Mobile Suits. Once Tomas was chosen to represent Neo-Iceland in the Gundam fight, she begged him constantly to let her work on the Gundam and he eventually agreed. However, when it became apparent that her mechanical prowess far surpassed that of any the engineers they had already recruited, she was instead made chief of engineering and now oversees all the repairs and maintenances for the mobile suit.

Ellie has always been precocious, and at times she can be rather stuck up and annoying. Nevertheless, she has never failed to keep the Aurora Gundam working perfectly and is constantly striving to find ways to increase the performance of the mobile suit.

The transport used for Neo-Iceland's Gundam Fight crew is one of the five Valiant class warships built for the Neo-Iceland navy. It was first put into service in the second Gundam fight, and is now used by Tomas and his crew to travel the globe and compete in the Gundam fight tournament. It's not a very large ship, but it's rather quick. Since the Agnar Epsilon is to merely serve as the Neo-Iceland crew's transport, the main batteries have been stripped off the frame and the entire interior of the ship has been refitted in order to accomodate and service the Aurora Gundam in between its matches.






Neo America Support Team

Name: Arisa “Gremlin” Rothschild
Gender: Female
Age: 22

Appearance: 4’8½” @ 89lbs. Petite body frame. She has brown chestnut brown hair that reaches the small of her back, though it is usually in 2 pigtails. Her hazel eyes are hidden by thick glasses. She can usually be found wearing a lab coat.
History: Arisa is something of a child prodigy. At the age of 5, she wrote an AI script to do all of her homework for her (High School and Jr. College level). By the age of 18, she graduated from the University of Neo-America for her 4th degree. Shortly thereafter, she was approached by the Neo-America Team to aid in designing a Gundam for use is the 3rd Gundam Fight. To this day, she is a crucial part of the design team. Her nickname, “Gremlin,” comes from her small stature and her bad habit of taking things apart without permission or notice.

Name: Cpt. Josie “Jo” Westwood

Appearance: 5’6” with a slender, yet muscular build. She has fiery red hair that goes barely past her shoulder blades and bright emerald green eyes. She is usually found in either BDU pants and a green tank-top or in green pilot’s coveralls.
History: Josie is a childhood friend of James Ranger. She and James lived in the same general area, he on his father’s farm, she in a local city. When she was 12, her parents had to move up north for business and she and James lost touch. 13 years later, at the start of the 3rd Gundam Fight, they were reunited.

Captain Josie Westwood was originally going to be Neo-America’s representative to the 3rd Gundam Fight, but at the last moment, before they started construction of her Gundam, the decision was made to have a civilian be the representative. As if to add insult to injury, she was to act as the Representative’s tactical advisor, body guard, chief-of-security, and back-up pilot.

Personality wise, she is short-tempered and hot-headed, but she really is a nice person, honest!

Neo Scotland Support Crew

Neo-Scotland Support Team:

Mobile Headquarters: The Brigadoon, a Stirling-class mobile fortress. It basically looks like a small medieval castle on legs, and moves quite slowly. It is, in fact, so slow that the team usually operates out of transport aircraft, only returning to Brigadoon when extensive repairs are needed. Being a fortress, it mounts a good bit of weaponry and has a large enough hangar to carry a number of mobile suits, but most of its offensive capabilities have been disabled for the duration of the Gundam Fight.

Tactical Advisor/Backup Gundam Fighter: Moira Douglas: As the winner of the Highland dance portion of the Highland Games, she was a potential Gundam fighter canidate. She and Alexander were fierce competitors in the final stages of the selection process. She lost to Alexander in combat trials, but outperformed him in the written exams. In the end, he was chosen to be Neo-Scotland's fighter, but she was offered the postion of tactical advisor. She accepted, but Alexander suspects she joined the team for the sole purpose of annoying him...

Chief Mechanic: Jenny O'Keefe: The daughter of an Irish father and a Scottish mother, Jenny often threatens to defect to the Neo-Ireland team when she feels she isn't getting enough respect from the Neo-Scotland team... which is often. She is outspoken, critical, and stubborn, but she's incredibly good at what she does.

Neo Sweden Support Team

The Neo Sweden support team:

The Neo Sweden support ship Stockholm is a large land battleship very similar in design to the old military hover craft of old, it has a large central bay for for storing and repairing the Gundam which is partially covered by the living quarters/ command section, armored sides and front gate, it is also lightly armed with three 2-barrel beam cannon turrets and a pair of 8 tube missile launchers on either side of the bridge. It's driven by 4 thermo nuclear engine pods which can swivel to turn the battleship nearly on a dime.

The crew consists of:

Mathias Pederson: A small man but a master mechanic, his looks bely his 60 years, he has a bad habit of taking things apart when they don't need to be taken apart. He is the head mechanic for the Hatchet gundam, he demands an almost military level of efficiency form his mechanic team. He also helped in he design and construction of the Hatchet Gundam.

Nikolai Knutsen: A true prude, he is the head of the Gundam commitee for Neo Sweden, he is a fanatical health freak. He has been likened to a walking schedule book. His staff handles any of the paperwork that comes up during the Gundam fight, including wants and warrants

Fredrick Oszier: The military end of Neo Swedens Gundam team, he is very loose for a military man, he tends to try and make everything into a joke, he used to be apart of the Swedish Counter terrorist units till he was wounded by a shotgun blast through a wall. His platoon of soldiers helps keep Sam out of trouble in bars more than they protect him.

Neo Ireland Support Crew

Alcohol: this is his "support." Neo Ireland promised him all the alcohol could drink, which was bad for them.

Shaemus O'Fitzgerald: he really isn't a support guy, he was just hired to deliver the alcohol.

Wife: This is his nagging wife...he hates her and only finds her attractive when drunk beyond all compare. she always has a rolling pin in hand and wears a shower cap.

Willy: The "imaginary" Leprechaun Sean see's when he is in the gundam. no one believes he exists. he tells Sean to burn things

Neo Russia Support Crew

An odd craft shaped much like the fabled UFOs from the days of yore. This is Neo Russia's most advanced ship, and it has been trusted to be used by Boris to transport the GF3-006NR "Vodka Gundam' it's pilot, the support crew and spare parts.

Mrs Snuggles A full grown female polar bear. She's been quite sad since the lost of her husband Mr. Snuggles.
Lil Snuggles A polar bear cub of unknown gender. It's quite sad that it's father has vanished.
Elena Boris' beautiful niece, she's also one of his best students. And was deeply hurt when she learned Mr. Snuggles had vanished. She joined Boris on his quest.

It's a complete mystery how two people and 2 bears manage to fly around a flying saucer, keep a Gundam running. Is it because they're super Russian bears? Is it because the Vodka Gundam and the ship are easy to repair and fly? Is it because of magic? Or is it just stupid? Thats up to you to decide

Technical and Historical Notes:

A specialized ship designed specifically for the Gundam Fights, it was made sometime during the 1st Gundam Fight, but didn't finish completion until the end of the 2nd Gundam Fight. The ship is designed specifically for transportation, and has no weapons of any sort. It is capable of flight in the air or travel on the sea, and is large enough to fit a large crew and many supplies for a Gundam.

The current captain of the ship is Isis Lapis, the current Gundam Fighter's tactical advisor. Currently the ship is only manned by a handful of people, as most of the functions on the ship are automated. The ship is mainly used for transporting of goods between colonies and places on Earth during peace times, however it still functions as a trade ship during the Gundam Fights, in order to transport the pilot from place to place.

Neo Egypt Crew:

Isis Lapis Appearance

Isis Lapis, Age 19 - A young but cheerful girl who's the childhood friend and tactician of Seth. Her brilliant ideas and quirky attitude are a well needed force that drives Seth in his endeavors through the Gundam Fight. Despite her young age she has graduated from the Neo Egyptian Military as a Tactical Advisor and Operations Specialist. If need be, her skills also allow her to act as a stand-in for Seth when needed in a mobile fighter, though her skills are not as great as his. One thing she loves to do is disagree with Seth, even if he may be right, just to get some fun arguments out of him.

Isis is of fair height and weight, somewhat shorter than Seth with a petite yet strong feminine frame. Her skin tone is slightly darker than Seth's, but her eyes are just as gold and piercing, like a hawks. Her outfit consists of a loose but short tank top that she just idly wears over her basic outfit, a contorting blueish spandex jump suit which goes about down to her mid-thighs. Her steel gray boots go up to the top of her shin, with a pair of matching steel gray fingerless gloves. She wears her black hair loose, at shoulder length, and sometimes refrains from wearing her tank top and gloves. She has a thing for water, and can usually be found on the ships pool or near any lake or river in the area the ship may be in.

Allie Reyes, Age 34 - Chief mechanical engineer of the Nu Seti as well as the Gundam Osiris. Revered as one of the top minds of Neo Egypt, she has dedicated herself to the production of technology for her nation. The Gundam Osiris base design was originally her idea, and was specifically tuned for its current pilot by herself, as well as her crew of engineers. This mature, sultry woman could easily use her looks to get what she wants, however her addictive personality for anything related to technology kind of steers men away from her. Her current project is constructing the Final Form of the Osiris, which revolves around attachments to the current armor rather than permanent like the original design was supposed to be.

Neo Norway Support

Neo Norway

The Neo Normandy Gundam transport is basically and all-terrain Viking longboat that uses high powered engines to travel over land as well as in the water, although it naturally does better in the water. Since Neo Normandy is somewhat paranoid, the ship, known as the Baldor, has several light machine guns mounted around its perimeter and three torpedo bays.


As for the support crew:

Peter Wergeland:
Odel's loudmouthed development partner, Peter ususally gets his work done just so nobody will bother him about doing it. Although he is probably the hardest worker of the crew, he hates that he has so much work to do.

Margit Kielland: The Odin's chief mechanic, Margit is constantly on Odel and Peter's case about slacking off and not doing their work, even when its been done for ages. She cares more about the Gundam than the others around her, and the crew jokes that she's really a robot.

Ludvig Falkberget: A cynical middle-aged doctor, Ludvig is in charge of making sure nobody dies. He does his job well, but usually ends up dealing horrible emotional damage to his patients.

Neo Germany Support

The Neo Germany Gundam transport is a high-tech zeppelin. Here's Volkswagen's assigned "mechanical crew". They ride around earth to help Dieter with repairs... and they probably don't hurt his "Freude" level either.


Aiko Manchukuo (24, 5'4", 34B-24-34): Leader of the transport zeppelin crew and head mechanic. A serious Japanese girl, often seen in a kimono. Black hair and brown eyes.

Felica De Luca (22, 5'6", 35C-25-36): Assistant mechanic. Airheaded Italian who tends to lounge around in miniskirts and drink more than she works. Black hair and brown eyes.

Cerise Vichy (22, 5'8", 36D-24-36): The newest addition to the VW “mechanical crew” assigned to the Gundam Fight unit, Cerise is a cheery French girl that usually wears a frilly maid uniform, even when on duty. Brunette with blue eyes.

“Two Swords of Vengeance” (can be used in both normal and Brigand modes) One beam Cutlass is thrown spinning at the opponent. As they try to dodge the Corsair moves with the second Cutlass should the first miss its mark. If both these attacks fail, the first Cutlass can be “Called back” using a Laser guided gravity towing system. This system was developed by the Corsair State and believed to be one of the methods they have for capturing ships in space, the system cannot be used to pull any objects other than the Cutlasses.

Gundam Fight ability points:

Brigand mode: “The Devil’s luck” In brigand mode, the Corsair opens vents that pump out a cloud of gas that quickly envelopes the area making it nearly imposable to see the Corsair and creates sensor ghosts and shadows. Only Gundams and pilots with exceptional skill and equipment can the Corsair in this fog. This is why the Corsair diverts power from its physical strength into its sensor equipment when in Brigand mode, allowing it to see clearly where most others cannot.

History: How the Corsair State managed to build or otherwise acquire a Gundam is still a mystery. It is suspected that much of the technology used in the Corsair Gundam has been developed by the pirates and may hold the secrets to why they have been so successful in recent years. Because of the extreme secrecy the Corsair State has-- or rather-- the extreme paranoia of its leader, Admiral Dorinkirk, the Corsair Gundam has been entrusted only to Captain Morgan “Red Star” Burke, his loyal second in command. Many suspect that Captain Burke may be trying to set herself up as the successor to Admiral Dorinkirk by wining this year’s Gundam Tournament.

History: Little is known about Captain Burke beyond that she is regarded as the most ruthless pirate Captain in the Corsair state as well as a fearsome Pilot. Considered the most loyal and trusted person in the Corsair State by its leader, the mysteries and reclusive Admiral Dorinkirk. Even then, it is widely known that even she hasn’t met the man in person. However, if she wins the tournament, she has been promised the honour of meeting Admiral Dorinkirk face to face as part of her reward. One other thing that is known about Captain Burke is that she seems to have an obsession with the colour red that goes far beyond what would be considered simply a part of her nickname. No reason for this has been discovered as of yet.

Ultimate attacks: “Dance of Ordnance” Pilot uses the rhythm of music to time an intricate choreography of movement and shooting. Can be combined with mêlée fighting.

“Azure Fire” (hyper mode only) utilizing the particle wave system, the Excelsior can generate a field of charged particles around itself that add to its hand-to-hand attacks or can be focused into a single directed blast towards an opponent, however, because of the unstable nature of this attack, the pilot avoids using it for fear of causing harm to another fighter.

Gundam Fight ability points:

Hyper mode can only be achieved when the pilot and machine reach a state of emotional and physical resonance. At which point the coolant fins on the Excelsior’s back open to expel heat from the reactor in order to generate more power, which is split between the particle wave system and the Excelsior’s physical strength. This mode, however, decrees the Excelsior’s defenses.

History:
When the engineer, Zedrich Zeppelin was fired by Neo Germany for his radical design proposals and outlandish theories about machine/pilot synergy, he sought out a means of both getting back at his former employers and prove his theories. This personal vendetta lead him to Neo Liechtenstein, where he was able to convince a handful of government officials to help finance the construction of his unorthodox machine. Since there is nothing culturally specific included in the machine’s design, it wasn’t given a German name. Instead, Zedrich named it “Excelsior”, thinking that this name would capture the revolutionary nature of his creation.

Excelsior is built to capitalize on Cheoco’s mastership skills with a focus on its search capabilities. Also, to test the machine/pilot synergy theory, the Excelsior’s Trace system is equipped to tap into Cheoco’s emotional strength as a means of control in Hyper mode.

History:
Despite being the caption of her archery club in high school and being a grade ahead of her age, Cheoco was always a very awkward teenager. When she was fifteen, when her father (a successful businessman) moved to Neo Liechtenstein, taking Cheoco with him. Her social problems and self esteem hit an alltime low. Cheoco didn’t know any Germen and only a little English at the time and she was often teased in school because she was so different from the other students. There was no archery club and Cheoco didn’t want to try out for the cheerleading team, so she ended up becoming a part of the school’s sport shooting and marksmanship team. Although she can still be awkward at times-- not to mention childish and immature-- Cheoco is now an award winning and accomplished shooter. In her last years of high school, Cheoco developed a friendship with her English Teacher Zedrich Zeppelin, (a former engineer for team Germany who was fired when VW took over). When she graduated from school, Cheoco remained a trusted friend of Zedrich and even started helping with his “secret project” for the government. Which ultimately lead her to become the pilot of the Excelsior Gundam.

History: Hockey Gundam is the newest machine built by Bombardier, and is built on solid and proven technologies with newer innovations enhancing its abilities. The Hockey Gundam has been equipped with modular armor and defensive weapons that can be dropped mid-fight in order to give it an edge in speed and offensive power.

History: Although not aggressive by nature, Quinn had developed a reputation for being a fearsome opponent in professional hockey. He didn’t start fights, but he always finished them. He retired early from the ice because of the frequency of players trying to intentionally start fights in order to try taking him down. After Neo-Canada’s dismal showing in the Second Gundam Fight, Quinn was asked if he would be willing to train as a candidate for the pilot of the new Hockey Gundam. He accepted the offer and has proven himself to be the most suitable pilot.

History:
A young fighter pilot in the Neo-French Armée de l'Air(Air Force), Alex was selected by his Commanding Officer when the Department of Defense ordered that Saint-Dizier, the base to which he was assigned, provide a Mobile Fighter pilot for the Third Gundam Fight. Though somewhat lacking in ranged weapons as a result, its close- and medium-range capabilities are excellent.
Alex himself has been a pilot since joining the military at age 19. He took lessons in fencing, jujitsu and kung-fu while in Middle and High School, and is a close-range specialist - though only average as a marksman, his aim and skill with a sword is superb.

History: Originally planned as a limited-production, high-mobility combat mobile suit, The Dassault NF-MS19X Durendal was converted to serve as the Neo-French entry in the 3rd Gundam Fight. It is equipped with a prototype hyper-capacitor which, when activated, triggers a tremendous boost in the machine's combat capabilities. This was called "Mode d'Attaque Rapide Augmenté (Enhanced Fast Attack Mode)", but is called "Mode Rafale" by its pilot, after his old fighter. The Gundam Durendal is named after the historical sword of Comte Roland, paladin to Charlemagne.
Because it was originally meant as a military machine, it is fairly nondescript in appearance except for its gold-trimmed red, black and white colors.
The Durendal's armament is scaled back significantly from the original military prototype for the Gundam Fight. Its ranged armament consists of two dual head vulcans and four medium-range machineguns, as well a seldom-used optional beam rifle. Its close-range equipment consists of two standard heat sabers, and a set of close-range machineguns. Its small shield mounts its only standard beam weapon, a large beam sword.

Explanation of Ultimate Attacks:

Lame du Paladin(Paladin's Blade): The energy from all weapons systems is channeled into the beam sword, though in a pinch it can be done with one of the heat sabers - though this would end with the heat saber's blade being rendered unusable. Once this is done, the Durendal rushes forward and slashes the enemy mobile fighter once across both shoulders before sweeping the massive blade across the enemy's neck, taking the head.

Brèche de Roland(Roland's Breach): A powered-up version of the Lame du Paladin, this powerful attack can only be activated in Mode Rafale. In this attack the Durendal repeatedly slashes the enemy mobile fighter across the arms and shoulders before sweeping the massive blade across the enemy's neck.

Grand Whirlwind: (Wuxia mode only) Ning-Qiu creates a Gundam sized whirlwind that draws in her opponent. Activating her beam jian in one hand and with her beam pistol in the other, she whirls about slashing her opponent multiple times and finishes them off with her gun. Due to the stressed placed upon the unit's power supply/reactor, compared to the Thousand Limbs Strike, this technique is often leads to an immediate shutdown of the unit.

Thousand Limbs Strike: (Wuxia mode only) Ning-Qiu activates her Gundam’s heat hands in her Gundam's palms and begins rapidly delivering numerous strikes upon her opponent’s body with not just the heat hands but the Gundam's feet, arms and legs as well.

History A nigh-obsolete unit, the unit was refined to fit with ever growing melee, less militarized fashion the Gundam Fight tournaments seem to be taking and tailored specifically to its pilot. Refined it may seem it still shares the “personality” of its near obsolete kin in terms of power, strength and defense. The former of which is of a greater concern during the Gun-fu Gundam’s wuxia modes whereas the strain upon the reactor to keep up can cause an automatic shutdown.

Appearance: Reminiscent of the Nobel Gundam yet lacking the high-heels and hair. Midsection is reminiscent of a waist-length robe with matching trousers. Colored green with yellow trim and red cuffs. (Think of a cross between the Nobel and Kowloon Gundams)

One of the more noticeable things about
Standing at around 5’8,” a good deal of Ning-Qiu’s body mass comes from the muscle on her well-toned, ochre complexioned body. Much of which is packed in her long legs, followed by her abs and though not readily evident in her arms, muscle is also there as noted by her feat of doing reps of one-handed handstands. Her body outline can be described as pear-shaped with broad, man-like, shoulders and somewhat thick hips with a pug nose, full lips and rounded face while her ebony black is cropped short her head in an Eton crop fashion. Her hands and feet are notably longer and narrow than average. Her clothing preference leans towards various styles of blouses and khakis with close-toed, heel-less slippers. Sometimes likes to wear a hat with her outfit. Her favorites being the derby and fedora.

History: Born into a long family tradition of circus performers, Ning-Qiu has long displayed her mixed skills of contortion, acrobatics and martial arts on both the nation and global stage. As part of her body’s physical curriculum she was enrolled into gymnastics where she barely remains a member of the gymnastics community to this day. Yet during her dual circus and gymnastics career she had a steady job as a stuntwoman in Hong Kong’s cinema action genre where she remained for over half a decade until her three sliver medals in the Olympic gymnastic competitions. After which she was actually given some minor roles in the action cinema before finally gaining a few starring roles. Though still pigeon-holed in the action drama she has been steadily trying to branch out into other genres.

When open candidacy was given in Neo Hong Kong’s search for a new Gundam fighter for the next tournament Ning-Qiu, quite literally, threw her hat in the ring as a candidate. The ambition was spurred not only by her curiosity as to how far she could make it, but self-confidence and support that should had a chance, as well as the spotlight such an endeavor gave her (to which a few other actors and stuntmen and women followed her and also applied) even though it would further cement as just an action star.

Splitting Headache/Gravity Comet: Akin flies high into the air, often with the sun at his back, and thruster dives feet first onto his opponent

Breakneck Spin Toss: Akin hooks onto the opponents neck with either one or both hands or one or both feet then spins about the opponent’s neck before throwing them in a corkscrew spin.

Gravity Bomb: Usually preferring to disrupt his opponents with the E-first, Akin flies high into the air with his opponent then slams them head first into the ground.

History Originally a new high-performance and possibly multi-purpose unit in testing, after being modified into a true mobile fighter the Luta Livre needed less further modification in suiting its pilot’s fighting style and personality. Among this test bed unit’s other than its high thruster output is the “just off the drawing board” beam emitters mounted on the unit’s forearms. Part of their tech-heads research in beam technology and improved shielding, each beam emitter produces a small shield slightly bigger than the forearms. Though a success in actually getting the things working, finally being taken off the drawing board five years ago, they lack an extended time usage. Mostly due to the emitters electronics burning out and trying to maintain its shape.

Appearance: Save for the kitenge(?) sarong-ish, one-shoulder dress and zebra looking shoulders, the Luta Livre Gundam's slim and rounded, rather than blocky, body shares a design similar to Neo-Kenya's future Zebra Gundam. The midsection and lower body, save for the "feet", are a painted bright green on the outside with a bright yellow on the inside (think Tekken's Eddy Gordo clothing) with baby blue at the cuffs and collars. Except for the faceplate this color design is also used on the Gundam's head to resemble something of a luchadora mask. The bare "skin" parts of the Gundam are painted brown.

Appearance:
The darkly brown eyed, sepia brown complexioned Akin stands over the six foot mark with a lithely muscled body and baritone voice quality with a mellow timbre. A somewhat broad, rounded face with a blunt nose that broadens below the bridge ending in slightly wide nostrils above full lips and squarish jaw. His thin eyebrows curve up to form check marks while there is a small beauty mark (subdermal mole) just under his left eye, on the cheek. His cheekbones are high and slightly broad with deep dimples on the cheeks whenever he smiles. His ebony black hair, reaching down to his collar bone, is twisted into micro-dreads and at times is tied into a bun or ponytail. When not in his mobile fighter outfit, in Brazil’s national colors and mask, he prefers social casual wear and favors bright colors in his dress code.

History: Originally a capoeirista, and later wrestler, in his martial arts career, Akin placed his skills in the martial arts circuit during highschool for the money. Making his way to the prize money at first to aid in his grandmother’s hospital care, later his father’s medical bills and further again to raise money for college tuition and his attempts as a professional musician. Unfortunately these contests, and transportation to reach them, were often sporadic and thus eventually made a steady income in the professional wrestling circuit as a masked wrestler.

Managing to join a musical ensemble he dropped out of the professional wrestling circuit, though made a few appearance every now and then even finally revealing his true identity, he toured the Earthsphere and even began a solo career that has given him national fame and is steadily gaining international acclaim.

When Neo-Brazil publicly announced open candidacy for a new mobile fighter pilot—following the other nations in using more unorthodox pilots—an internet petition by Akin’s fans (music, wrestling and martial arts alike) was filed in encouraging Akin to apply. Surprisingly, more to Akin than to his non-fans, when the dust settled he became the official fighter and representative for Neo-Brazil in the 4th Gundam Fight.

Ryusei Urameshi

He wears a white t shirt, jeans, and sneakers out of his Gundam, his spandex suit is red to match the color of his Gundam in Flaming Anger mode with a large blue 16 on the back because of the model number of his Gundam, and also has a black circle on the front with a robot's fist in the middle.
History: Ryusei had always loved giant robots and had taken martial arts at a young age, so when he heard that there was going to be a new Gundam Fight he had gladly volunteered to be a canidate to pilot Neo Japans new Gundam. He had helped with some minor changes to the Gundam and had also named it after an enemy in a video game he liked. He is rather hot-headed and not very patient, and seems to care more about piloting a Giant Robot than winning the Gundam Fight.

Explanation of Ultimate Attack:
Flaming Right Punch: Is just activating the enhanced heat parts for the right fist and boosting forward to punch the enemy, although if used a lot during one battle without a cool time it will begin to melt the armor on the right hand.

Pile Bunker: Uses the pile bunker to "push" the left hand's spiked knuckle and hit the enemy for more damage then a normal punch, but since the Pile Bunker is compact (Although it is the biggest that could fit oninside of the arm without interfering with the normal functions.) the attack does not do as much damage as it could if a larger and heavier one had been used.

History: The Ultima Gundam was built as a test unit to see how well this type of design works, it was built more for speed and and close range battles then anything else and is very lightly armored so it can only take a few hits from powerful weapons. But it has very good manuverability and mobility to counter act that, it also has a proto-type collapsible shield to help protect it but it is not very thick to keep the weight down. It also has very limited weapons due to the pilots modifications to the design, he prefers speed over armor and had some armor and weapons removed to lighten the frame to allow better speed.

The Gundam also has something like the right hands heat emitters placed all over the inside of frame which when activated switches the Gundam into what the pilot calls Flaming Anger mode, although unlike the right hands emitter it will not melt the armor due to the heat not being concentrated in one area, the Flaming Anger mode increases the attack power and speed of the unit by deactivating some of the limiters but must activate some extra limiters to keep the tempature down, hampering the units adaptability. The Ultima Gundam looks like this except with the two heat knives on the hip armor and the 90mm Machine gun on the hips, and the left arm is a bit wider than the right due to the Pile bunker in the left arm.

Gundam history: The Hatchet Gundam was originally designed to sport a large number of missile launchers in disposable pods all over the body, in simulations it was pitted against previous Gundam designs the Swede's had faced before, it proved to be a pure disaster, aside from having no close in weapons except for its vulcans, it was fundamentally weak because it had little or no armor. This changed when Sam was made the pilot, he had the builders strip it down and rebuild it around the idea of having powerful physical abilities and melee weapons that could be used as mid range weapons, and then gave it a heavy shell-firing bazooka to round out its long range needs.

Gundam appearance: The Hatchet Gundam is fairly plain with a white on black paint scheme, it has a special black flag on its forehead just under the V-fin and a Hatchetman symbol on its right shoulder plate to accompany Neo Sweden's symbol on the left. It is built with wide shoulders and reasonably powerful arms to allow it to wield the assortment of melee weapons it carries and stout legs to allow it to hold its ground in a brawl.

Ultimate attacks:

Chain slam: The Hatchet Gundam wraps one of its chains around its opponent and yanks them towards itself, the Gundam then delivers a massive punch to the opponents head.

Hatchet barrage: The Hatchet Gundam attaches the hatchets to its chains and launches them out to strike its opponent repeatedly, can also be used as an anchor.

Clear cut: The Hatchet Gundam attaches the large axe to one of its chains and swings it around in a large circle, leveling anything it connects with.

History: Originally from a lower noble family, his ancestor's whiled away the family wealth, leaving Sam with little more than a name, he worked as a logger in the forests of Neo-Sweden to make a living, an avid drinker and a member of the now mostly defunct JRB gang, he tends to start a lot of bar fights, this habit eventually led to his piloting the Hatchet Gundam when he killed the son of a prominent political figure of his country, in order to avoid a lengthy jail sentence he agreed to become the pilot for his country in the Gundam fight, though they were so eager to win the fight that they allowed him to modify the Gundam's mediocre armaments to suit his fighting style.

Follow the Rainbow: Above the Forearm Machine guns on the right hand, there is a little slot. out of this slot, a rainbow comes out and shines towards the opponent. this is actually a tracking system that allows for "Gold Coins" which are really round beams to lock onto the target. the "gold Coin" beam are weak individually, but when shot out in numbers(which the attack does) they come out of the rainbow slot like a slot machine. without the rainbow beam, the pilot can shoot one coin, or a few, at a time.

Luck O' The Irish: A green beam in the shape of a four leaf clover protrudes from the torso (a beam cannon is in the center of the Suit) and heads for the targeted suit(it is aimed 1st, its not an auto lock.

Appearance: It looks like a leprechaun, and for this reason, it is shorter then most Gundams taking place in this year's fight. I's head is taller then normal due to a "leprechaun" hat and has a red "beard." It looks pretty much like the fabled Irish Leprechaun. It has a Beam cannon in the shape of a four leaf clover in the torso, above the cockpit.

Hyper Mode name and description:
Drunken Irish Fighter (DFI) mode. This mode causes the strength and power of the gundam to go up, while making it become in a drunk-like state. This causes some activities to shut down, much like a drunk person. Also the wiring for the movement messes up a bit and causes the Gundam to stumble.

While they have no worldly ambitions of their own, Neo-Vatican has no intention of letting anyone they disaprove of have total political power even if it is until the next tournament. They are also suspicious of this Corsair State. Michael's duty is to uncover the Corsair State's ambitions, mingle with the other contestants, and allow the most pure of heart to fight it out amongst themselves who would be the champion.

Armament Descriptions:

Beam Katar - Located underneath the arms, these blades shoot out and extend past the hands, acting as slashing and stabbing weapons. The blade itself rests on a specialized platform under the arm when active, making it so it doesn't damage the arm when slashing. Considered the primary and most-used weapon of the unit, due to the pilot's preference for close combat.

Reinforced Rare Metal Fiber Extension Cloth - A experimental cloth which enhances upon the concept used on the previous Pharaoh Gundam, the cloth is reinforced with specialized metal fibers and particles which can extend to great lengths and be used for defense or offense. The cloth can also solidify in order to form base combat weapons, such as a staff, the pilots preferred weapon with the cloth.

Heat Dagger - A pair of heat daggers, one stored in each leg. Though not very effective normally due to their size, they can be used for surprise close combat assaults where the pilot may be locked in a grapple. The daggers themselves have large circular hoops on the end in order to tie the extension cloth to, so the daggers can be thrown and return to the unit; this could be considered one of its more ranged attacks.

"Falx" Anti-Armor Shotel with Beam Edge - (Inspired by Sandrock Heat Shotels) A pair of specialized fold-out shotels with large curved blades, this weapon folds up in its inactive state and attaches to the hard points located on the units hips. The weapons are nearly identical, however each has a specialized docking mechanism to connect to each other to form the weapon used in the "Charge Crusher" attack. While they can be used as physical weapons, both edges of the shotels can generate a beam, adding to its potential striking power.

Ultimate Attack Descriptions:


"Burial Cloth" - Taking full advantage of the thin but highly durable extension cloth stored in the left and right arms, the special attack Burial Cloth works two ways. Normally the burial cloth, reinforced with a rare metal fiber, is used to defend against ranged attacks. However, the ultimate attack form uses the pilots energy to enhance the durability and sharpness of the cloth, giving it a light golden glow. It can then be used to penetrate through any armor from medium to light construction. The Burial Cloth technique also allows the unit to enter "Burial Mode," where the unit is wrapped in layers of energized extension cloth to heavily improve its defense against attacks. In some cases, it can also be used like the name intends, wrapping up enemy mobile suits like a mummy and burrowing them into the ground below.

"Charge Crusher" - Inspired by the curved shape of the "Falx" Anti-Armor Shotels with Beam Edge, the two weapons are able to be formed together like a giant pair of scissors. The mobile fighter then precedes to increase its overall ground boosting thrust and charges the enemy head-on, either impaling the unit with the giant pair of weapons or heavily damaging them from the sides. The main idea behind this weapon is to pincer an enemy between them and cut the unit in two; however, it requires precision and the ability to predict an enemy's movement to work properly.

"Heat Mirage" - Because the Osiris is best suited to operate in hot environments, the unit is equipped with special radiators which allow it to disperse heat. While normally it serves this function, when it enters Burial Mode, releasing the heat through the extension cloth wrapped around the unit sheds thin layers of the cloth. These solid particles form images with mass. Using the pilot's own energy, these images can move in the same fashion as the unit and despite being technical mirages, because these mirages are made of millions of solid heated particles they can actually cause heat damage to an enemy mobile suit, while keeping up the appearance of the actual mobile suit to the naked eye.

"Heat Spikes" - A special attack developed in the Gundam Fight Championships while in combat with the Corsair State's Corsair Gundam. Only capable of being activated when in Burial Mode, the cloth forms up across the body and sticks out, solidifying itself into spear-like protrusions to make a heated suit of armor made of spikes. Any enemy that may be charging in will be skewered by these spears and receive serious damage to their externals and internals, depending on where on the spikes they may skewer themselves upon. This attack only works when an enemy leasts expects it and is charging in, without the ability to change direction.


Ultimate Mode:

"Burial Mode" - The ultimate form of the Incomplete Gundam Osiris, wrapping itself in its extension cloth and enhancing its durability through the pilot's sheer will, its overall defense is enhanced, making it near indestructible while still retaining its speed. However, Burial Mode limits the use of weapons (specifically, it cannot use its heat daggers or katars, and it cannot activate the beams on its shotels, only able to use them as a solid sharp weapon), lowering its offensive potential. A immediate side-effect of Burial Mode is the "Heat Mirage" Ultimate Attack. Because the cloth covers the specialized heat vents, the unit glows red as it sheds particles to create the physical mirages of itself. The unit also somehow enhances its speed in this form; it is believed that the energized cloth enhances the thruster output of the mobile fighter.

Power: 13.5 - Because the Gundam Osiris does not have a considerable amount of beam weapons, most of its mobile fighter's output is dedicated to speed. The beam weapons it does have, do not create a large enough output to put a great enough strain on the reactor. Despite this, the pilot rarely uses more than one weapon at a time. It is believe when the Gundam Osiris is completed, the output of its reactor will be increased to deal with the additional thrust output of the powerful thrusters.

Speed: 14.5 - The base speed of the Gundam Osiris is average at best, mainly because it's in its incomplete stage, and is lacking its specialized thrusters. Currently it's capable of going at an average balanced speed, more than enough to make it last against other opponents. Paired with the pilots fluid movements, everything balances out. In Burial Mode, the extension cloth has a positive effect on the thrusters and movements of the unit, enhancing its overall speed.

Offense: 14.5 - The Gundam Osiris lacks weaponry which uses ammunition or e-pacs, and unfortunately doesn't have any ranged weaponry at all. Instead the Gundam Osiris's offense focuses purely on close combat weapons that can be applied to close or mid range battles. In Burial Mode some weapons become unavailable, while the functions of others become limited; hence the drop in offensive power.

Defense: 14.5 - The armor of the Gundam Osiris is slightly thicker than most Mobile Fighters. A specialized construction method allows the armor to remain relatively lighter than the basic gundarium-based alloy used on a Mobile Fighter, though not by much. In Burial Mode, due to the addition of the thin yet highly durable extension cloth covering its frame, its defensive ability is almost doubled.

Search: 10.5 - With basic search functionalities, the Gundam Osiris sports an average sensor system that come standard with most Mobile Fighters. There is nothing good or bad about them, and their range is effective enough to determine enemy location and movements around the unit.

Adaptability: 10.5 - While the Gundam Osiris is primarily constructed for combat in hot environments, due to its generic construction it is neither good or bad in any other environment. Its average adaptability allows its pilot to adapt as best he can to a situation in different environments. However, cold environments tend to be the main enemy of this unit, as it is incapable of activating its Heat Mirage ability; however, a hot environment such as a desert gives this unit a great advantage, allowing it to generate more Heat Mirages that can cause more damage. Places with average climate allow it to generate a average amount of Heat Mirages.

Historical Notes:

Designed to boast close combat superiority, the unit actively balances its speed, offense and defense paired with the pilot's fluid motions to ensure great chances for victory in close combat. Half-way through its constructed it was to be designed for other purposes; however, when participating in the mock battle against the Pharaoh Gundam III and proving quite skilled in the hands of the pilot Seth, the design of the unit was heavily modified. While it was initially slated to be completed as a heavily armored unit with speed (See Form 2 of the Seth-Rah in my Compendium, the second part of the image), it was later geared towards a balance. However, by the time of the next Gundam Fight its thrusters were not properly completed or added to the Gundam Osiris, hence its incomplete state.

Currently it sports a high-output thruster silhouettes which produces about half of the originally intended thrust for the unit. Its armor is relatively light in balance with the speed, despite its durability. The unit also lacks any long range weapons, geared towards the pilot's preference for close combat tactics over long ranged battles. The design itself doesn't look very Egyptian in nature, and instead follows design ideas from other colonies for a more unique, effective look. The head design however was made to resemble that of an Egyptian Warrior, and has a Egyptian phrase written on it that says "In Life there is Death, but in Death there is new Life."

In a unusual change of sorts, the Core Lander is located in the front of the body instead of the back, and instead of using the mobile fighters thrusters to propel itself, relies on a specialized low-output hovering system which has basically balanced speed. The mobile fighter is also capable of acting independently without the pilot in order to move to the pilots location, however its combat functions are disabled in such cases, due to the lack of its cockpit. The Core Lander area is heavily reinforced, and not even a shot from a beam rifle can damage the docking mechanisms.
