History: At the end of the last Gundam Fight, Neo Germany turned in a disappointing finish during the finals, finishing ninth. The engineering team that worked with the government for the first two fights was sacked, and a group of professionals from Volkswagen was brought in as design consultants. Their influence over the project grew to the point that every major system and component was either designed, provided, or manufactured by VW. One of their final changes to the plan was to bring in one of their test drivers (who also happened to be a professional fighter and general troublemaker), unceremoniously fire the government’s Gundam Fighter, and declare Dieter the new pilot.

Dieter is one of Volkswagen’s best strong-arm men. An accomplished fighter in the national circuit with a strange temper, he was picked from the hundreds of goons VW uses regularly to exert their influence over just about everyone, including the government.
