Explanation of Ultimate Attacks:

Blazing Shot -- The hand beam gun’s power output is raised until the beam glows a reddish orange, and the powered up beam can then be fired at the enemy. Drawbacks include temporarily disabling the arm that used the attack for cool-down as well as the use of one of six available Blazing Shot attacks.

When used in Dragon Mode, however, the Dragon Armor’s external Dragon Gauntlet uses its own mounted batteries to perform the Blazing Shot attack, draining the battery in use but allowing the unit to continue using its arm in battle.

Blazing Nagamaki -- The Beam Nagamaki’s power output is raised by the Blazing Shot, enlarging the weapon’s beam blade and turning it the same reddish orange color as a standard Blazing Shot attack. The powered-up weapon is then used to slash at the enemy until the Blazing Shot effect wears off. Drawbacks force the use of two of six available Blazing Shot attacks as well as temporarily disabling the arm and the Beam Nagamaki for cool-down.

Blazing Dragon Cannon -- The Dragon Cannon is charged to full power, and is then accompanied by two standard Blazing Shot attacks from both arms. All three energy attacks are then hurled at the enemy Mobile Fighter. Drawbacks include the complete shutdown of the Gundam after the attack is performed thanks to a complete power drain.

History: When Neo China fared poorly in the last Gundam Fight Competition, they decided to put more time and effort into their next generation Gundam Fighter. Using top-of-the-line data collected from the last Gundam Fight, Neo China’s engineers developed the powerful new Slayer Gundam. With an emphasis on speed and offensive ability, the unit is quite lacking in defensive ability. It also featured newly developed beam weaponry. However, thanks to power constraints on the reactor, use of the beam weapons is generally limited.

The most interesting aspect of the Slayer Gundam however is its radical new Blazing Shot, an experimental Ultimate Attack that requires a high amount of energy to use. It can be adapted to give the Slayer Gundam two versions of its Ultimate Attack, but it often leaves the unit disabled after use.

With the Finals looming, Neo China decided to correct the Slayer Gundam’s power and defensive issues. By developing a new Dragon Armor, the engineers can help form the Dragon Slayer Gundam. The new full armor option mounts additional armor to the standard Slayer Gundam to improve what it lacked in defense, and it also included extra batteries to give the unit more power for its standard and added weapons. However, the full armor option notched down the standard Slayer Gundam’s speed as a result of the added weight coming from the extra external parts.

Assigned to replacement Mobile Fighter Chase Lee, Neo China hopes that this unit can bring their nation a victory. Ironically, Chase is rather lazy in battle, and Neo China often fears that the unit’s full potential will not be reached.
